Claude Chevalier
President and CEO

Mr. Claude Chevalier, founder, President and CEO of Bio-K+ International Inc. and Bio-K+ Pharma has vast experience in marketing and business management.

After a brilliant career at Bombardier, Mr. Chevalier took over The Dairy Bureau of Canada (DBC) as President and CEO. He transformed this organization into a powerful corporation specialized in marketing and development of dairy products in Canada and throughout the world.

He is an energetic entrepreneur and sits on the board of directors of several other companies, participating in their development.
Dr François-Marie Luquet, Dr ès sciences
Vice-President, Research

DrLuquet is an internationally renowned expert in the field of lactic bacteria. He has a doctorate ès science (microbiology) from the Université de Caen in France.

Having studied dietetics, food bacteriology and industrial engineering, Dr Luquet is the author of more than 200 scientific publications and technological works. Among his more recent publications, are two reports entitled « Bactéries lactiques et probiotiques » and « Use of Lactic Bacteria in Fresh Dairy Products and Probiotic Effects ».

Dr Luquet was Director of the Danone Group's Research Centre and, for several years, was also Director of Development and Industrial Marketing for TRANSIA; a division of the Mérieux Group. Furthermore, Dr Luquet was Professor of Dairy Technology at École nationale supérieure des industries agricoles et alimentaires (ENSIA).

Dr Luquet also has extensive experience within European research organizations specialized in the dairy field.
Monique Roy, B.A., L. ès L., M. Ling.
Vice-President and General Director

Mrs. Roy, who is dynamic and determined, is currently in charge of Human Resources and Special Projects at Bio-K+ International Inc.

Mrs. Roy was very involved in teaching at the college and university level in both Montreal and Toronto. She founded Toronto's first francophone daycare center in 1979 and played a strategic role in the realization of several building projects including the Nicoterre project, and the development of Dynamark Management Corp. and Bio-K+ Pharma.

She actively participated in the creation of Bio-K+ Pharma in 1994 and continues to contribute to its development today. She was in charge of coordinating the fit-up and construction work on the Bio-K+ International Inc. headquarters, when the head office was built in 2000.

Michel Sirgent
Vice-President of Sales and Marketing

Mr. Sirgent is Vice-president of Sales and Marketing since 1997.

After having directed his own marketing firm, Mr. Michel Sirgent devoted 15 years of his career to promoting natural health products. In 1993, he left the retail trade and joined Boehringer-Ingelheim, a multinational pharmaceutical company, in the Over-the-Counter Health Products division, where he very successfully managed the territory of Quebec for 5 years.

As Vice-president of Sales and Marketing, Mr. Sirgent is responsible for the commercialization, marketing and distribution of Bio-K+ CL1285MD products.
Isabèle Chevalier, B. Sc., Graduate Diploma in Management
Vice-President, Corporate Affairs

Mrs. Chevalier has a Bachelor's degree in Political Sciences from the Université de Montréal and a Graduate Diploma in Management from HEC Montreal. She has held several positions since she began working at Bio-K+ International Inc. in 1998.

Mrs. Chevalier is very involved in the management and daily administration of the company. She began as receptionist in Customer Service and then worked in Logistics and North American Transport.


Thereafter, she worked in close collaboration with the Vice-president of Marketing and participated in launching new products. In 2001, she developed an internal computer network as well as the internet website, while completing her graduate diploma at HEC Montreal.

As Vice-president of Corporate Affairs, she manages media relations, among other things, while participating in marketing decisions regarding products.
François-Pierre Chevalier, E.D.C., A.M.C.
Vice-President, Business Development

For nine years, Mr. Chevalier has actively contributed to the daily management of production and administration of the company. He is currently Vice-President of Business Development at Bio-K+ International Inc.

Mr. Chevalier began his career within the company by occupying various positions, while continuing his university education at HEC Montreal and at McGill University (E.D.C. /A.M.C.).

In 2001, Mr. Chevalier succeeded, thanks to sustained efforts in sales and marketing, in establishing the Bio-K+ CL1285® product on the American West Coast. That is how Bio-K+ Pharma was able to open an office in Los Angeles and benefit from various distribution networks which today, serve 48 states.
Mélanie Lalonde, M. Sc.
Vice-President, Quality Assurance and New Product

Mrs. Lalonde is part of the Bio-K+ International Inc. team since 2000, as Vice-President, Quality Assurance and New Product.

Mrs. Lalonde has a Master's degree in Microbiology from the Université de Montréal and is a specialist in lactic bacteria fermentation. She routinely gives conferences at scientific symposiums and imparts Bio-K+ Pharma's technical information to various groups: pharmacists, nurses, dieticians, therapists and consumers.

Moreover, Mrs. Lalonde is responsible for insurance and quality control of Bio-K+ CL1285® products and is in charge of obtaining Health Canada's regulatory approval. In fact, she was the one who obtained the kosher certification.

Michel Rheault, CMA
Vice-President, Finance

Mr. Rheault joined Bio-K+ International Inc. in 2003, as comptroller.

Michel Rheault has a Bachelor's degree in Management Accounting from the Université du Québec à Montréal and is a member of the Ordre des comptables en management accrédités du Québec, (certified management accountants). He occupied the position of director of finance for several advanced technology and biotechnology companies. He has diverse experience in management, accounting and finance.
Charles Babin, B.Sc., Automated Production Engineering
Director of Operations

Mr. Babin joined the team at Bio-K+International Inc., as Director of Operations, in June 2006.

Mr. Babin began his career as a robotics technician at CAE Inc., where he developed his technical skills while working on various flight simulation systems. In search of more ambitious goals, he successfully completed his university studies in Automated Production Engineering at École de technologie supérieure in Montreal. Prior to joining the team at Bio-K+ International Inc., he worked at CAE in the Engineering Department on various high profile research and development projects.
